Acoustic Emission Method as a Means of Quality Control in Multilayer Welding of Thick-Walled Welded Joints

Abstract The article reviews the capacities of acoustic emission method usage to assess technical condition and integrity thick-walled welded structures, quality control joints in multilayer welding. As a result analysis AE data, authors propose set informative parameters method, which form criterion space for separating reflected signals from defects interference.
